SICK NOTE INFORMATION FROM 20th MARCH 2020

Those who have COVID-19 (Corona Virus) or advised to self-isolate will be able to obtain an isolation note by visiting NHS 111 online and completing an online form rather than contacting a GP.  For COVID 19 cases this replaces the usual need to provide a "fit note" after seven days of sickness absence.  Isolation notes will also be accepted by Jobcentre Plus as evidence of your inability to attend.

This will help during the Cornavirus outbreak as it cuts down visiting the surgery.

Dorset Care Record

The Dorset Care Record (DCR)

New Care Record Sharing system to improve health and care launched in Dorset

People in Dorset can look forward to improved health and care following the decision to go ahead with a new electronic sharing solution.

The Dorset Care Record (DCR) will bring together information from hospitals, GP's, community teams and local councils, enabling details of a person's medical or care history - and their needs - to be summarised in the same place.

It will improve co-ordination and communication between different agencies, improving treatments and reducing delays, and meaning people will have to tell their story only once.
